NASHVILLE, Tenn. --NASCAR may indeed be returning to Nashville according to Mayor John Cooper in an interview with FOX 17 News. WZTV_EVENT. Announcing the deal to pave the way for construction of a MLS stadium for Nashville SC, Cooper stated Bristol Motor Speedway will be releasing a letter of their intent. "They're hugely excited about the ability to bring NASCAR to Nashville," Cooper stated.
